Lake Trax Pro integrates your PC and your GPS together. The lake maps are available via a PC software solution that allows you to analyze, mark, upload and download information to your GPS. This information helps you to maximize your fishing time and is compatible with most GPS units on the market. By using a Lake Trax PC map, a fisherman can perform the following activities and much more on their computer.
Pre-Fishing:
- Pick an unlimited number of locations by clicking anywhere on the map creating waypoints and transferring these spots to your GPS.
- Plan a trolling pass or a navigation pass to a specific area by using the track feature.
- Measure distances on a map to plan how you wish to fish an area.
- Print out custom maps with multiple zoom levels and including the detail you added to the map.
During Fishing
- Use Lake Trax Pro on your GPS unit Pick an unlimited number of locations by clicking anywhere on the map creating waypoints and transferring these spots to your GPS.
- By using NMEA options on GPS units that support this feature, you could use a see real time navigation on the lake map from a laptop computer.
Post-Fishing
- Download waypoints from your GPS to the PC to allow editing of names, saving, printing of maps and much more.
- Download your track file and save key trolling passes, so you can upload this track at a later time so you can repeat the exact same trolling pass or passes.
