Lowrance

LAKE TRAX was designed to work with select Lowrance® and Eagle® GPS units. It is a complete system including the SD Memory card

  1. Verify your GPS is set to Lowrance or Lowrance SD/MMC under Menu – Map Data.
  2. Simply insert the SD card into your Lowrance® or Eagle®  GPS. The maps are designed to automatically display.
  3. Map may not display until zoom level reaches under 1 mile.

Note: On some units, the GPS may appear to be unresponsive for as long as 1 minute while the maps load. Also, at the 8 mile zoom range, the contours typically start to build so the GPS may be unresponsive for a brief period.

If the maps do not display, typically you either do not have a compatible GPS unit or it is possible your GPS software needs to be updated. This can be accomplished at the
    Lowrance web site:

Garmin

  1. Simply insert the MicroSD or SD card into the appropriate location.
  2. Under your Map Setup, set your detail to High.

Magellan

  1. Insert the included SD card.
  2. Meridian: Go to Menu - Card Utilities - Change Map and select color or gray map and Save.
  3. eXplorist: Go to go to Menu – Preferences – Active Setup and choose your map under Detailed Maps.

Jagged Lines
While viewing the map on the GPS, you may notice the lines appear jagged at high zoom levels. Kirsch’s Outdoor Products uses the actual depth soundings provided by the lake mapping entities. At times, this can cause some jaggedness to the lines. The strategic decision has been made to use the actual data as to preserve the best accuracy possible.

Liability
Kirsch’s Outdoor Products assumes no liabilities for any software updates you choose to load or any damage or inoperability that may occur while Lake Trax Pro is in use.

Copyright
THE MAPS CANNOT BE LEGALLY SENT TO ANY OTHER PERSON OR COPIED IN ANY MANNER. THIS VIOLATES THE COPYRIGHT AND YOU WILL BE HELD LIABLE FOR THIS VIOLATION.

As long as the memory card has not been copied or damaged due to copying, we will replace or update your memory card if an issue arises with the card. Please send it to:
